Here’s a nice thought that has been passed around …. ‘ A hero generally isn’t any-one terribly different to you or me. They however possess the enviable skill of sticking at an unenviable task 5 minutes longer than the average person’.
So let’s apply this to our everyday living. What can we apply this heroic 5 minute rule to ? Here are a few heroic measures that come to my mind : reading stories to children, loading the dishwasher at night even though you’re super tired, throwing a soup into the crock pot, sweating it out on the treadmill and of course getting that work assignment DONE.
